Mutiu Abimbola Oyinlola
Mutiu Abimbola Oyinlola is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He is an expert in economic governance and management with over 15 years of teaching, research and consulting experience. He was a visiting lecturer at the highly revered Joint Facility for Electives of the African Economic Research Consortium, Nairobi, Kenya. He is a fellow of the Non-Residential Fellowship Programme of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Lagos. His research interests span international macroeconomics, development economics, and international finance with special focus on financial sector development, exchange rate, inclusive growth, and governance. He has consulted for many local and international organizations including the African Development Bank and the African Peer Review Mechanism, where he led economic governance teams on the African Peer Review Mechanism country review missions to Sudan, Liberia, Uganda, Mozambique, Namibia, and South Africa.
