At CII-Africa, we aim at creating of effective public institutions, corporates and businesses that contribute to efficiency of government and the productivity of industries and private enterprises. To this end CII-Africa corroborates with various actors to enhance integrity, combat corruption, and promote good governance in both the public and private sectors.
Accordingly, our organization provides a platform where anti-corruption, ethics, governance compliance professionals, corporate governance experts and distinguished academics in institutional and corporate integrity in Africa engage on a variety of subjects. These include, sharing research on innovation and current trends, supporting the development of relevant industry standards and training.

Our Objectives
Promoting Corporate Integrity: We strive to raise awareness and provide guidance on ethical practices, integrity, and anti-corruption measures for corporations operating in Africa. We encourage the adoption of robust compliance frameworks and best practices to ensure sustainable and responsible business conduct.
Strengthening Governance: CII-Africa advocates for strong governance systems in both public and private institutions. We support the implementation of effective governance structures, policies, and procedures that uphold transparency, accountability, and the rule of law.
Capacity Building: We provide training, workshops, and educational resources to enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals in the areas of corporate integrity, compliance, anti-corruption, and good governance. Our capacity-building initiatives aim to empower individuals and organizations to make ethical decisions and contribute to a culture of integrity.
Collaboration and Partnerships: CII-Africa actively seeks collaborations and partnerships with governments, civil society organizations, international institutions, and the private sector. We believe that collective efforts and partnerships are essential in driving systemic change and achieving our mission of promoting corporate and institutional integrity in Africa.
Our Focus Areas
Anti-Corruption and Bribery: We work to combat corruption and bribery by advocating for strong legal frameworks, promoting transparency, and supporting anti-corruption initiatives. We encourage the adoption and implementation of international anti-corruption conventions and standards.
Corporate Governance: CII-Africa promotes best practices in corporate governance, including board effectiveness, risk management, transparency, and accountability. We provide guidance and support to organizations in adopting corporate governance principles that foster sustainable growth and stakeholder trust.
Compliance and Risk Management: We assist organizations in developing and implementing effective compliance and risk management frameworks tailored to the African context. We promote adherence to international standards and help organizations navigate legal and regulatory requirements.
Business Ethics and Responsible Conduct: CII-Africa encourages ethical business practices and responsible conduct by promoting integrity, fairness, and respect for human rights. We advocate for responsible supply chain management, social and environmental sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.
